Our comforters are hand crafted in Rajasthan, India. Located in northwestern India, Rajasthan is the home of a stark desert terrain peopled by nomadic people always on the go. These travelling folk required bedding that was warm enough to keep them comfortable in the cold winter nights and yet light and compact enough to carry with them in the caravan. And over time, they developed the traditional Indian quilt called the "jaipuri razai" -- a quilt that is warm, lightweight and compact. Read more about jaipuri razais here.
